Simply combine four products that we have at home to create the perfect detergent without anything that can make the floor incredibly shiny and they are:
- Bicarbonate
- white vinegar,
- fabric softener,
- Dish washing detergent.
As you can see, these are products that are found in every home, but these four combos give amazing results.
The ingredients for a DIY cleaner
Let’s take a look at the 4 products that are used to prepare this homemade laundry detergent separately and what other uses they are suitable for.
- Bicarbonate
We’ve often talked about baking soda as a product that can work in cleaning the house. For example, it can help keep kitchen sink pipes clean.
Simply pour a tablespoon and pour into a pot of hot water to allow the water to drain better and remove some grease residue from the pipes. If you want a flawless, fragrant wash, just add some baking soda during the machine wash phase. And clean scent is guaranteed!
- White vinegar
White vinegar is also widely used at home and not only for salad dressings. If flushing white vinegar down the toilet seems like a waste to you, it’s perfect for removing that thin film of limescale that settles in the toilet and then allows germs to “stick” and proliferate.
In addition, white vinegar also has its own function in the laundry, making the sheets wrinkle less by acting as a green softener.
- Fabric softener
As we know, there are different scents, the function of the softener is to “relax the fibers” of the fabrics. Some can’t do without it, others find it too chemical to apply to the skin wash after wash and replace it with something else. However, in this DIY recipe, its qualities are used to make the floors fragrant and shiny.
- Detergent

How to prepare detergent for a very shiny floor
The preparation of our DIY cleaner requires very little time and our 4 magic products: So let’s take a bucket to wash the floors or mop and pour warm water until it’s half full.
Then we combine a tablespoon of baking soda, half a cup of softener of the aroma of our choice, half a cup of white vinegar and a little detergent to wash the dishes by hand.
