To make the orchid bloom continuously, you can rely on very effective natural products – all the details.

Everyone dreams of having invigorating and lush plants at home and in their garden to beautify both the rooms and the exterior of their home. However, to achieve this goal, it is necessary to take care of your plants in great detail, paying attention to positioning, watering, products used and much more. An approach that is also fundamental for orchids, which very often decorate the interiors of houses and enrich gardens by adding vitality and color. What is the best way to feed the orchid? What are the best ways to ensure that these plants always grow lush?
Strong and lush orchid with this foolproof method
To make orchids bloom continuously, there is a quick and easy method that will bring great satisfaction to all those who decide to apply it to their flowers. First, you need to get some rice, which is placed in a salad bowl – 5 tablespoons is fine. The next step is to add 500 ml of room temperature water to the rice.

After mixing the water properly with the rice, you can move on to the next step, which is to sift the rice water into another container to get only the liquid substance. Not everyone knows that rice water is an excellent natural fertilizer for orchids, as it promotes the flowering of this wonderful plant. What should be done at this point? With the container containing rice water, you can proceed to water the orchids, taking great care to water gently so as not to damage these beautiful flowers (you can also proceed with a watering device, ed.). How often should rice water be applied to our orchids? It is recommended to water the beautiful plants with this solution every 14 days. But with all the leftover rice water? Don’t worry, you don’t have to throw anything away. In fact, leftover water can freeze, remembering to thaw it when it’s time to water the orchids.
Making the Orchid Bloom: The Lemon and Water Method
To make sure that our orchids have excellent watering, we can also opt for another method. After filling the salad bowl with a liter of water, add a teaspoon of lemon juice, which is gently pressed onto the spoon to get the exact measurement. Why lemon? Its sap is great at preventing mold and mildew, so the orchid will only benefit from it.

Once the solution is well mixed, you can take a small glass and take some solution from the salad bowl from time to time and apply it on the orchid’s floor (always extremely gently). In this case, too, the process must be repeated every 14/15 days. The good news is that even the leaves of the orchid can be treated with this special mixture of water and lemon: however, in order not to risk damage, it is good to put the solution on the leaves (both front and back) with a little cotton. Surgery on the leaves may be performed once a month.
