It’s hard to find high-quality cucumbers on store shelves, especially in winter. What to do if you don’t have the opportunity to grow vegetables in the garden, especially for those who live in apartments? Maintaining a vegetable garden can be an expensive task. However, I offer you an interesting way: grow cucumbers at home, using common glasses on the windowsill. This method does not require special care and allows for a fresh harvest throughout the year.

Choose containers with a volume of approximately 450 ml for culture; are the most convenient for this purpose. The basis of my method is the use of fertile soil.

You can prepare the soil yourself by mixing peat moss with organic humus, or you can buy ready-made peat moss from a store at an affordable price. This soil will provide excellent nutrition and breathability to the plants. Seedlings in vessels develop as well as in the open field, the first shoots appear within a week. Plant care involves daily watering.

The volume of the landing containers is selected based on your needs. Placing cups with cucumbers on the windowsill is not difficult and they will take up very little space.
