With this quick and easy remedy, bad odors will disappear – the shower drain will smell great.

One of the most pleasant moments of the day is, without a doubt, when you decide to treat yourself to a good regenerating shower. During the autumn and winter months, a good hot shower is just what we need, while in the warmer seasons we opt for a cold shower. In both cases, our body will be especially beneficial and the mind will also be able to enjoy the benefits of a moment of great relaxation such as a shower. In short, in addition to disinfecting better, showering is undoubtedly one of the main remedies to banish the stress accumulated during the day.
How to Make Your Shower Drain Smell Good – The Simple Way
However, the shower stall is one of the places where the biggest problems can occur. The bathroom, as we know, is one of the rooms in the house where humidity, mold and bad odors can easily form. In the shower in particular, these critical issues can appear more frequently, forcing us to step in to find the best shower possible.

In general, in case of stagnation and humidity, the most effective solution is to resort to deep cleaning, possibly opting to intervene with organic and natural products that can guarantee excellent results without impact on the environment.
Even for the shower drain, we can use natural remedies that clean deeply and give an intoxicating aroma, eliminating bad odors. The first ingredient you can use for this purpose is vinegar.
This element has certain properties that make it perfect for a deep cleaning of the house. Vinegar is also great for shower pipes. All you have to do is get a bowl full of boiling water (one bucket is enough) and add half a liter of white vinegar to it.
After mixing well, pour the solution down the drain and wait a few hours before checking its effects. If everything has gone well, we will no longer have to deal with bad smells.
Another great drain cleaning product is baking soda, which is also very popular for household cleaning. Also in this case, you can use a bucket full of boiling water, in which we will dissolve a glass of baking soda inside, and then pour the solution down the drain.
The alternative is to put two tablespoons of baking soda directly down the drain, waiting a few hours before pouring the boiling water down the drain.
Also coarse salt and citric acid to rinse off – it will smell good again
Coarse salt is another ally that allows us to deep clean the drain and make bad smells disappear forever. Put two tablespoons of coarse salt in the colander and leave it on overnight.

The next morning, take a bucket of boiling water and pour the liquid down the drain – bad smells will only remain a bad memory.
Finally, citric acid can also be used to intervene in the drain. Simply dissolve 150 grams in a liter of hot water: the solution should be flushed down the drain.
After a few hours you can use the shower again by breathing deeply: the bad smells will have disappeared.
