In fact, over the years, these floors may no longer be as bright as when they were purchased.
Marble floors, how to clean them: all the secrets
Don’t worry, because it is obviously possible to restore marble floors to their original state. This type of flooring can also be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected to ensure an unmatched shine.

Many rely on chemicals that are easily found on the market, but instead it is advisable to focus on natural remedies, which can be easily prepared at home, so as not to risk damaging the surface of the floors.
The first thing to do before proceeding with the application of the natural remedy is to clean the marble gravel floor of all easily removable dirt, especially dust.
A job that can be done with a vacuum cleaner or with a simple broom, possibly with soft bristles.
Once this step is completed, you can proceed to the cleaning itself, which should never be done with acid-filled products. On the contrary, it is advisable to act on marble floors using detergents with a neutral pH or, in any case, with delicate products that do not damage the surface.
For daily wipes, even warm water alone can be enough, with which we will soak the cloth.
What are these delicate products that help us to clean this type of floor perfectly? Certainly Marseille soap, which can be added to a bucket that has already been filled with warm water.
Marseille soap can be used both in flakes (a few will suffice) and in liquid (use a measuring spoon). After mixing the substance well with the warm water, we dip the cloth in the bucket and begin to pass it on the floor, possibly making circular movements. In a short time, we will see the stains disappear: the floor will be as good as new.

A good alternative to Marseille soap is denatured alcohol. We will need four tablespoons of this substance, which we will have to add to the bucket full of warm water.

The procedure is the same as before, that is, the cloth is dipped in the solution obtained and passed over the floor, then rinsed again with warm water.
Finally, it is also possible to create a specific product for marble floors. Pour 10 tablespoons of alcohol, 3 tablespoons of baking soda, and a tablespoon of Marseille soap into a bowl, mixing everything well.
Dip the cloth into the sink and run along the area of the floor where there is dirt. After about five minutes, proceed with rinsing, this time submerging the cloth in warm water only.
