Every year I prepare the holes for planting tomatoes in the same way, only this year I still can’t plant the seedlings, as it is cold and humid due to the daily rains.

Now I’ll tell you how I prepare the holes to plant tomatoes:
I pour wood ash into each hole (1 tablespoon). It is rich in calcium, potassium, magnesium, and sodium, which are very important for tomatoes. Ash also reduces the acidity of the soil.

Then I pour in fishmeal (also 1 tablespoon into each hole). This organic fertilizer has a long-acting action. First, the fishmeal is processed by the microorganisms in the soil and only then does the plant receive all the beneficial microelements. The flour is rich in phosphorus, iron, iodine, selenium, calcium, nitrogen, zinc, sodium, and manganese.

And finally I add the phosphorus and potassium mineral fertilizer “Borofoska” (1 tablespoon). In addition to calcium and phosphorus, it contains a large number of different macro and microelements necessary for the normal development of tomatoes.

All of these components added to the hole must mix well with each other and with the soil. After this, plant the tomatoes and water them with warm water.

I am more than 100% satisfied with this method of planting tomatoes. That’s why I recommend that all gardeners who don’t know it try it.
Fishmeal can be found in stores that sell farm animal feed. The price by weight is lower than that of packaged products.

If you were unable to buy fishmeal, bone meal may be a substitute.
