The Chinese always manage to surprise with their achievements and gardening is no exception. Looking for a way to increase the yield of tomatoes, I turned to Chinese methods and was amazed by the results. It turns out that tomatoes can produce two to three times as much! However, there are some details to consider.

The Chinese use the following method: after germination, they let tomato seedlings develop and grow for a month, giving it normal care. They then cut the tomato seedlings right next to the ground and transplant the shoots into separate cups with soil. At the same time, it is important to create optimal conditions for such seedlings, which can be done even in an apartment.

The air should be heated to a temperature of approximately 25-26°C, but not higher than this value. Also, tomatoes need enough light. They take root quickly and successfully in the right conditions, and the main thing is to prevent the soil from drying out. Caring for these seedlings is not difficult or particularly difficult.
What does this approach bring? So here’s the fun part. After such a transplant, tomato bushes begin to develop on two stems. This ensures an increase in productivity. I have personally tested it in practice. Both stems come out strong and healthy. However, there is a small nuance that can be easily removed.

Due to the large number of fruits on a bush, the plant may experience a lack of nutrition, which can affect the flavor of tomatoes, making them less sweet and juicy. In this case, it is recommended to remove the upper brushes. This will allow the remaining fruits to retain the flavor as in conventional cultivation, but in much larger quantities. If quantity is important to you and not taste, then you don’t need to remove the top brushes. In this case, the harvest will be even more abundant.
However, for me personally, quality always trumps quantity. If you grow tomatoes to sell, this method will be a real treasure.
