Even with limited time and minimal physical exertion, every gardener can grow their own crop of cucumbers without watering. To do this, it is necessary to prepare a “self-watering” bed.

The process begins by digging a trench around the bed and watering the bed thoroughly with boiling water. Then you need to cover the bed with a dense black film and dig the trench with soil so that on the sides of the bed the film is under the ground.

After that, the garden should be left for 3 days: during this time it will heat up and condensation will begin to form, which will feed the cucumbers.

Once the bed has warmed up and condensation has formed, you can make cuts in the film in the shape of a checkerboard, the distance between them is about 20 cm, and then plant cucumber seeds or plant seedlings. Next, you should wait until the cucumbers are ripe and you can harvest.

If during the summer it does not rain for 3-4 weeks, you can pour two syringes of water into each cucumber in the existing cut in the film.

And when it rains, condensation builds up under the film and continues to nourish the cucumbers, making it much easier to care for the flower bed.
