Are you having trouble growing orchids and would like to know how to make them bloom abundantly? Sometimes these plants form many roots and produce many leaves, but few flowers. Surely you also want to see them grow with abundant flowers, but perhaps you have not yet found the right solution to achieve this goal. Growing orchids successfully is not difficult and to have magnificent ones you only need to follow a few specific strategies. The secret to keeping them healthy also depends on where they are placed and for how long. In fact, you should know that a change of air for a while is good for orchids, to prevent them from stopping growing and flowering. But how do you have splendid flowers? This is something you need to do to get spectacular blooms from your orchids!

Change the ambient temperature of the orchids.
The trick to getting abundant flowers from orchids is to change the room temperature after you have placed them at the same temperature for a long time. In practice, the secret is to make the plants perceive the passing of the seasons, to increase flowering. In fact, if orchids stay in the same environment for too long and therefore get used to the same humidity and temperature, they do not produce flowering branches. Therefore, in order for orchids to produce flowering branches, the air of these plants must be varied. In particular, if orchids lose their leaves for a year or two and do not grow flowering branches, changing the air will certainly produce flowering branches. But how do you change the air in orchids? What does this air exchange consist of? Below is how to change the ambient temperature of orchids.

How to Exchange Air for Orchids
Replacing the air in orchids is simple. It is about exposing them to a different temperature than what they have been used to and to the one they perceive where they have been placed. Therefore, for orchids to produce floral branches, it is possible to expose them to night temperatures of 12 and 18 degrees, decidedly lower than those they perceive inside domestic environments. In this way they will be stimulated to produce floral branches. Of course, never place them at temperatures below 10 degrees, because they could suffer real frosts. Another recommendation to follow is to perform air exchange only in healthy plants. In fact, only if orchids are healthy will they be able to produce new leaves and new roots and, therefore, also new flowers. If the orchids are not healthy, it is useless to change their temperature, because you will not be able to obtain the desired results, that is, produce flower branches.

When to change the temperature You can change the temperature of your orchids in the month of September, specifically towards the end, and after just two months you will be able to see the leaves and flowering branches grow. With this procedure you will be able to obtain many orchids in bloom and decorate balconies, terraces, gardens, whatever you want as you like. In a short time you will see that the flowering branch will appear in each one, so don’t waste time and place your exposed plants outside to change their temperature. You can keep orchids outdoors for 4 nights and 5 consecutive days if you change the air at the end of September. But be careful not to expose the plants to the sun and wind, even if temperatures range from 12 to 18 degrees, otherwise they could break. Follow these tips and you’ll see that you’ll get plenty of orchid flowers, so much so that you can decorate the entire house, inside and out, and make them last a long time!
