Red Anthurium: grow it like this to always have it in bloom and with shiny leaves!
1 – Preparation of the plant and introduction into the sponge.
First of all, it is necessary to check the condition of the plant and the roots. Then we move on to remove the yellowish leaves and roots with scissors, obviously preserving the collar. After obtaining the desired result we take a flower sponge and then create holes at one end. Inside the holes made we are going to insert our leaves. Then we put the cake with the leaves in a glass vase and then pour the water into it. Then add a little water directly on the cake.
2 – How to water the plant, providing it with the necessary nutrients.
Keep in mind that the plant only needs to be watered and not fertilized. In fact, after keeping the plant for about 15 days in a shady place we can move it to a place where it can flower easily. Then, after two months, we can water it in a way that provides it with the nutrients it needs, also using manure.
3 – How much do you need to water the plant and what to do if it seems too dry or too wet.
It is important to know that Anthurium should be watered no more than 3 times a week. In fact, too much water could turn the leaves yellow and damage the roots. If, on the other hand, the plant is dry, we will simply have to soak the roots, after pouring a lot of water into the vase. Then leave it submerged for about 60 minutes. In this way, the plant will not dry out anymore and will take on new life. At this point we have all the tools to grow and make our Anthurium flourish in water.
