A good crop of tomatoes is a blessing from heaven, especially in summer.

It is a fruit that contains seeds and comes from a flower. They contain plenty of phosphorus, potassium, folic acid, vitamins C and K. Their color is due to the presence of lycopene, lutein and zeaxanthin. They provide high doses of antioxidants, lower blood pressure, anti-aging, diuretic, promote good digestion, improve vision and prevent muscle spasms.

A real panacea.      Many people grow them in the orchard, garden or in pots.

Sowing is done in spring, harvesting starts from May to June and lasts until October.      They like light and heat. They should be placed in a place with good sunlight. It is necessary to water them constantly, but never excessively, so that the roots do not rot. They require weekly fertilizing     but are very filling.

In this exact sense, there is a method of irrigation that will strengthen them and leave them truly leafy.

Let’s see together what it is!

I tripled my tomato crop by watering them like this.

In order to enjoy a truly exceptional harvest of tomatoes, cucumbers or other vegetables, there is a trick      that consists in using a special liquid enriched with useful plant nutrients: rice water.      But watch out!      It’s not rice cooking water     , but definitely avoid it. Because?! Simply because it usually contains salt.

For example, a handful of coarse salt that you add to a pot when you want to cook risks damaging the roots and suffocating them by adding too much sodium chloride.

So what kind of water is it?      We use this to wash the rice before cooking.

In general, it is a good idea to rinse the grains to remove unnecessary starch. We put it in a fine sieve and ran it under the faucet, which dispensed a truly phenomenal mixture through our garden hoses.      Now simply place the container in the sink to collect and use.

This is an ancient and very common practice in China: the liquid we collect contains many micronutrients that can nourish and strengthen plants.

Simply      drench them once a week with this solution as close to the roots as possible to energize them. He will reward us with a bountiful harvest!

Unbelievable, right?
