Potatoes are useful for the development of the orchid as they contain potassium, calcium and some vitamins such as B and C. In addition, the peel of the potato has the characteristic of being an antioxidant and therefore helps the leaves of the orchid to be alive and hard as well as protecting them from some diseases such as fungi. First you will need to wash and peel 2 medium or large potatoes and then put them in a blender with about 400 ml of water. Turn on the blender and reduce to a slightly thick mixture. At this point you will have to separate the mashed potato skins from the liquid with the help of a sieve. You can use the puree that we have separated by adding a little water after letting it sit overnight for all your house plants except orchids. For orchids, take the water obtained from the potato peel and put it in a clean spray bottle. Now you will have to add the water. The ratio is 1:2, for example if the liquid of the potato is 20 ml, pour 40ml of water.
