Finding dry, rotten plants is undoubtedly one of the worst things that can happen, because it means having to say goodbye to the plant.

After so many months of sacrifices and probably even after spending a lot of money, there is nothing worse. Among all the plants that are easily damaged, because they need special care, is the orchid. What ails it are the roots that can be found out of nowhere even rotten despite being careful to water the plant correctly, without overdoing it.
How to care for the orchid?
Orchids, for example, are beautiful plants, which give joy but require excellent ventilation, because otherwise they die of suffocation. They’re supposed to grow on trees, so if we treat them like all other houseplants, suddenly the leaves turn yellow, the roots rot, and the flowers fall off. Be careful because it cannot happen only with this type of plant, but with all of them. Fortunately, even if the roots are partially or totally dead, there are possibilities that allow us to have hope and think that I will be able to save the plant. All you have to do is follow specific instructions to bring it back to life in a simple and fast way.
How to tell if the plant is dry, dead, or nearly dead by looking at its leaves
If the leaves are yellow, it is likely that the seedling has received too little water or that the soil has been wet for too long. The stagnation of the water causes the root to rot and then the plant suddenly dies. If, on the other hand, the leaves are wrinkled, it means that it has not received enough water, so it has become dehydrated. Generally, a plant rots because it is overwatered, so the roots do not have adequate time to dry, because watering is very frequent. A second hypothesis could simply be that the water stagnates in the saucer, also favoring the proliferation of infections by fungi or other parasites.

How to Save the Nearly Dead Plant
To save the plant it is necessary to flare it, removing all the substrate that covers the roots and then remove the rotten ones and leave only the healthy ones. Healthy leaves are green or white, while rotting or dried leaves are brown or black. Then the root is sterilized with 3% hydrogen peroxide, the plant is transplanted into a new pot with the dry substrate and each leaf is moistened with kitchen paper, to hydrate it. Once this is done, you should wait at least two or three days to water, in this way the plant should be in practically perfect health conditions again, as if you had just bought it.

The second method is certainly effective and is ready to save one or more lives.
A second method is to cut the dry twigs, then remove all the dry leaves leaving out only the root, placing a little dry cement in a vase obviously, a tablespoon is enough. To this you must add half a liter of water, then you stir the mixture, pour a little of this water into a fairly large container, inside which you must immerse the roots. At this point you leave them like this for 30 minutes. Then the root is left to dry for an hour, placed in a vase and covered with soil. After a week, water is poured into another container, then an aloe vera leaf is cut and placed in the water, trying to get it to release the aloe gel which is miraculous in any context. The water is then used to water the plant, which is covered and left covered as if it were inside a greenhouse. It is discovered after a maximum of 3 weeks, to great surprise the plant will have created new leaves and therefore will have come back to life. Once this result has been achieved, it is advisable to follow some guidelines that allow you to take the best possible care of this life, without overdoing it with water or forgetting to water it when you require it. Each plant is different from the others, there are those that need a lot of water and those that survive even with little. So if you are not well informed, it is advisable to ask the appropriate questions before acquiring any type of plant.
