Coarse salt in the washing machine: find out how much to use for enviable clothes! In recent years, appliance care products have multiplied, but if you want to have an efficient and clean washing machine, just use coarse salt. Does this seem strange to you? Coarse salt is also useful for counteracting limescale formation, as well as softening clothes. This feature even allows you not to use fabric softener and is suitable for all fabrics, without fear of causing damage. For each wash, simply put a handful of coarse salt (or a full cup of coffee) into the basket. This will also allow, in the case of white garments, to prevent the fabrics from yellowing. Then you can soak them in water and salt (two tablespoons full of salt in 5 liters of water) and leave them for a few hours and then proceed with your usual wash.
The result will be bright white garments that look almost new.
A – Use salt to remove stains: just put a tablespoon of salt directly on the stain, leave it on for a few minutes and then soak in a container for half an hour. Once the time has passed, perform the usual washing. Procedure also useful for rust stains and yellow stains.
B – Save the colors: place the garments that lose color in water and salt for half an hour and then wash. You will get an excellent result. (in two liters of cold water 2 tablespoons of salt)
C – Softening function: you can use this product as a fabric softener both by hand and in the washing machine. In the first case, simply immerse the garments to be washed in water and salt (3 tablespoons of salt in a container of water) for 30 minutes and then proceed to hand wash. In the second case, add 4 tablespoons of salt to the wash and you will see that the clothes will be softer. A simple and natural method that allows you to have optimal results without the use of chemicals.
