All-natural homemade fabric softener. Very efficient, more so than industrial ones. There is nothing more beautiful than scented clothes that give us a wonderful feeling of cleanliness and freshness, and if we could also have an ecological product, without chemicals, it would be even better. Fabric softener is undoubtedly one of the detergents that we use the most in our homes and few people know that it takes very little to do so. And as I said in a previous article: using solid shampoo would produce 552 million fewer plastic bottles… If each of us paid attention, even with a little recycling and a few simple precautions, the results would be great.

All-natural homemade fabric softener. Very efficient, more so than industrial ones.
In stores there are many brands with various fragrances, but which contain chemicals that are harmful to our skin, so let’s see how we can make our own eco-friendly fabric softener. Ingredients: 100 g of baking soda, 200 ml of hot water, 800 ml of apple cider vinegar; A few drops of essential oil from our favorite fragrance
How to prepare it naturally
Let’s take a 3-liter plastic bottle. (obviously recycled), and pour the water and baking soda into it and shake vigorously, then gradually add the apple cider vinegar, to prevent it from foaming too much. After slowly pouring in the vinegar, mix all the ingredients well. Let it sit for a few minutes and then add 20 drops of essential oil, I love the vanilla one, close and shake again. At this point our fabric softener is ready, we just have to use it. For each wash, pour 4 tablespoons into the appropriate bucket. We hope our suggestion helps you and see you in the next article on recycling and DIY. Thanks for following us and see you next time!
