It often  happens that indoor plants can have fungi and parasites on their leaves. Experts agree that every plant is different, as is the treatment they should have. In general, you can rely on completely natural ingredients:  a fertilizer  with three commonly used components, which together turn into a perfect fungicide.

Fungicides for plants: effective natural ingredients

Fertilizers are recently prepared only with food waste or directly with  the peel of fruits and vegetables.  Natural ingredients actually have many properties, but also nutrients that can help the plant get back on its feet.

When  plants have been attacked by fungi,  three powerful natural ingredients come into play and combine to become a powerful fungicide that can be used immediately. The ingredients are as follows:

  • 1 head of garlic complete with skin
  • 2 tablespoons of ground cinnamon
  • 1 glass of milk
  • 1 liter of water
Three components for a fungicide

The properties  of these three ingredients  are special, in fact they contain a number of nutrients for the plant and have the ability to act against the attack of fungi or parasites in general. They create a patina that eliminates their presence until the plant is beautiful, healthy and full of colorful flowers again.

How is a fungicide prepared and used?

Preparing  a fungicide  with natural ingredients is easy:

  • Take the garlic and chop it with the skin on (125 grams per liter of water)
  • Take a pot with a liter of water and add garlic
  • Put the lid on and let it macerate for 24 hours.

Immediately after, add  the cinnamon  and mix gently. A mixture of two ingredients in water will need to boil for about 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Once the mixture has cooled, strain completely into a glass bowl. At this point,  pour a glass of milk  and mix all three ingredients.

The substance is ready to use on plants with specific fungi. To do this, simply pour the liquid into the sprayer, so that the mixture of three components goes  directly to the leaves and stem.

Some gardeners prefer to pour the mixture on the ground and water it well to nourish and give the plant a set of  natural ingredients  that will help it defeat the fungus. When to use it? Whenever a plant is attacked by a fungus or bacteria.

To be sure, always contact a professional nurseryman who will confirm whether or not a particular plant needs direct intervention with additional ingredients. It should be noted that garlic, cinnamon and milk are not  harmful to plants and are rich in properties  .
