2-Ingredient Homemade Oil against Rheumatism and Joint Pain

Joint pain can be both painful and debilitating, so we suggest you try this efficient natural remedy against rheumatic and joint pain. It also boosts blood circulation.
Apart from providing immediate pain relief, this oil is made of two ingredients only – red chili peppers and olive oil. Chili peppers have been proven very effective in treatment of radiculitis, myositis, neuralgia, rheumatism and joint pain.

What this oil does is dilute capillaries, increase blood circulation to the surface of the skin, boost metabolism and activate the regenerative processes in the skin.


What you need:

– 10 fresh red chili peppers

– 2 cups olive oil

Wash the peppers first then remove the stems. Mince the peppers in a food processor. You’ll get about one cup of finely chopped mixture. Pour the mixture into a clean glass jar and add the olive oil. Let stand in a dark place. After 7 days, strain the mixture with some gauze.

Instead of throwing the minced pepper, you can use it as a spice. Use the oil for massaging the painful areas on your body.

When you start using this treatment, rub oil into your skin several times a day or whenever you have joint pain or pain in other parts of your body.

After rubbing the oil in, put on some warm socks or tights. It’s important to keep other parts of your body warm too depending on what hurts – your arms, neck, or back. After applying the oil, you will feel warming and tingling sensation on your skin, but don’t worry as this is tolerable, even enjoyable, and does not cause burns.

Over time, you can reduce the frequency of this oil massage. After a month or two, the procedure can be performed once a week, for example, or whenever you feel joint pain. Keep the oil in a dark place.
